Description: Grows in sunny areas and endemic to the Western Ghats, south and central Sahyadris. Flowering season September-November. Found in the southeast region of Bangladesh.
Note: It is a new record of plant in Bangladesh, as well as a new larval host plant of Graphium doson butterfly

Range: Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and China.
